Baltimore County authorities revealed plans on Thursday to activate six additional speed cameras in five different school zones starting next week. These cameras are scheduled to go live on Monday, March 18th.
During the initial 30-day period following activation, drivers caught exceeding the speed limit by 12 miles per hour or more will receive warnings instead of citations.
According to police officials, the cameras will be operational from Monday to Friday, spanning the hours between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. This includes periods during the summer and weekdays when school is not in session.
For those seeking specifics, here are the locations where these six cameras will be stationed:
- Lamb of God School, situated at the 4400 block of Ridge Avenue (eastbound)
- The Jemicy School, located at the 11200 block of Garrison Forest Road (north and southbound)

- Notre Dame Preparatory School, found at the 800 block of Hampton Lane (eastbound)
- Perry Hall Middle School, situated at the 4300 block of Ebenezer Road (eastbound)
